# How to Protect Consent Giver Information with Email Anonymization
This article explains how to enable **Email anonymization** in FairConsent.
If your organization does not want consent emails to include the **consent giver’s personal name or a copy of the consent**, you can enable this feature to help protect the consent giver’s personal information.
### How to Enable Email Anonymization
1. Open the **FairConsent platform**.
2. Go to **App Settings**.
3. Scroll down to the **Policies & Permissions** section.
4. Enable **Email Anonymization**.
5. Click **Save**.
Once enabled, consent notification emails will not include the consent giver’s name or a copy of the consent. This helps reduce the amount of personal information shared through email.
