# Why do you have the same rates for travel and production days?

Travel days are billed as full working days because this time is necessary to complete an assignment and the visual creators cannot work on other projects during this time. Additionally, travel days are often long and tiring. Compensation for this time is part of a [**fair**](https://help.fairpicture.org/support/solutions/articles/101000442428?hsLang=en) payment strategy.
