It might be preferable to name the files in Adobe Lightroom, Bridge, or Premiere. ``` Before uploading, please name all files according to the following naming conventions: **Photo naming convention** - *Project ID\_Fairpicture\_ascending photo number.jpg* - *Example: 128\_Guatemala\_Fairpicture\_001.jpg* **Video naming convention** - *Distinction between b-roll / interviews\_Project ID\_Fairpicture\_ascending video number.mp4* - *Example: Broll\_128\_Guatemala\_Fairpicture\_001.mp4* - *Example: Interview\_128\_Guatemala\_Fairpicture\_001.mp4* **Consent with the Fairpicture Consent App: No naming necessary, the app does this for you.** **Other Consent form (CF) naming convention ** - *Full name of the person\_CF\_Project ID\_Fairpicture.pdf* - *Example: Rodriguez\_Anna\_CF\_128\_Guatemala\_Fairpicture.pdf* In case children are included on the consent form, please add them as following: - *Full name of the person signing (name of children in parentheses)\_CF\_Project ID\_Fairpicture.pdf* - *Example: Rodriguez\_Anna\_(Rodriguez\_Miguel-Rodriguez\_Nata)\_CF\_128\_Guatemala\_Fairpicture.pdf* **Written products naming convention:** - *Project ID\_Fairpicture\_name of written product.txt* - *Example: 128\_Guatemala\_Fairpicture\_Life stories.txt* **SRT files naming convention:** - *Identical as corresponding video file: Interview\_Project ID\_Fairpicture\_video number\_SRT.srt* - *Interview\_28\_Guatemala\_Fairpicture\_023\_SRT.srt* # Add required metadata fields for visual material **1. Description / Caption / Abstract: ** - Photography: - Describe in the present tense WHO is pictured (full name, age, role) and WHAT is going on in the photo. - Give context to the event and/or describe WHY the photo is significant. - Videography: - Describe in the present tense WHO is filmed close-up (full name, age, role) and WHAT is going on within the scene. - Give context to the event or describe WHY the scene is significant. Add / Overwrite:** If you are filling in metadata to empty fields, choose "add". If you are editing or adjusting metadata, please choose "overwrite" for the fields you want to change so the previous information gets overwritten.  # Add required metadata fields for consent forms ``` Fairpicture generally works with the Fairpicture Consent App for Android and iOS, with which you upload the consent forms directly to our system without having to name them. If, for some reason, you cannot use a mobile device, and you used the Fairpicture consent forms (PDF), please follow the naming conventions below. ``` **1.
