# Fairpicture Portfolio Requirements
In order for us to be able to prepare your Fairpicture portfolio page we need the following documents and visuals.
**1- Three visual stories:**
- Each story should contain 5-10 photos (preferably in color) as JPG, minimum 1024 px. For each photo story we need captions and a short description of the context of the story, since we believe in the importance of not only delivering visuals, but providing images with a story, i.e. with information about the place, the person, the setting, the history or the situation visualized in the photo/video.
**2- References/links to photo stories of yours which are online.**
**3- If you also do video footage: links to videos of yours.**
**If you want to work with us as a videographer you'll need the following:**
**1- Three fully produced videos**
- Documentaries or other – either per web link (Youtube/Vimeo) or as a .mp4-file. For each video we need captions and a short description of the context of the story, since we believe in the importance of not only delivering visuals, but providing images with a story, i.e. with information about the place, the person, the setting, the history or the situation visualized in the photo/video.
**2- References/links to videos of yours which are online**
**Other documents needed for both photographers and videographers:**
**1- Your CV / resume:**
- The details of your biography (age, place of residence, education, photography schooling, geographical area you work in, etc..)
- What clients have you worked for so far?
- Exhibitions, publications (including link to the publication if available), awards, etc.
**2- A short statement written by you:**
- What is your motivation to do photography/videography? What made you become a photographer/videographer? What motivates you? What is your goal? What style do you prefer in your work? What values do you follow in your work? What is important to you? etc.
**3- A portrait photo of yourself**
- Please send a photo of yourself. The photos will appear black/white on the portfolio website (which are publicly visible).

If you’d like to work with us as a photographer as well as a videographer, please send us samples of your work in both domains. All visuals and documents transmitted to us will remain under strict confidentiality.
You will be able to check your Fairpicture portfolio before it is published online. NGOs and clients will then be able to look at your portfolio and decide to work with you as an image creator.
