How does FairConsent protect data?

FairConsent has privacy and security as top priorities. Here’s how your data is protected:

1. Local Storage

• Consent data is securely stored on app until it is uploaded on the platform (For businesses), or until it is exported (for individuals).
• This ensures data remains under your control until uploading or exporting.

2. Secure Syncing and Uploading

• All data uploaded to the platform is encrypted during transmission to ensure it remains secure.
• Only authorized users (admins & managers) can access uploaded consents.

3. Compliance with Privacy Laws

• FairConsent adheres to global privacy regulations, such as GDPR, ensuring lawful data handling.
• The Fairpicture Platform is hosted in Switzerland. Data does not cross borders except to the location of the client. 

4. Data Deletion

• All consent data is deleted from the app once consent uploaded or project is completed from the platform, ensuring no residual data remains locally.
• If Direct-to-DAM Mode is enabled on the platform, data is transferred directly to the client's Digital Asset Management (DAM) system and is automatically removed from the FairConsent database.
