Where are consent data stored?

The FairConsent app ensures that consent data is securely stored throughout the collection and management process. Here’s how it works:

1. On Your Device

• All consent data is temporarily stored on the app before exported or uploaded.
• This ensures offline functionality and data accessibility until the consents are exported or uploaded.

2. For Uploaded Consents

• FairConsent Platform Users and Fairpicture Projects: Once uploaded, consent data is securely stored on the Fairpicture platform, and no longer available on the collector's device.
• Individual FairConsent Users: If exported, consents are stored in the location you select (e.g., cloud storage, email, or local device). Learn how to export consents

3. Data Deletion After Project Completion

• When a project is completed, all consent data is deleted from the app. Ensure consents are exported or uploaded before completing a project.
